if there are no mods, i would just pick the standard UK model for the purposes of a web or automatic quote so you can compare prices. AFAIK Insurance companies are not supposed to charge more for euro imports provided that the vehicle is to exact UK specification.
When you want to arrange cover make sure you tell the insurance company that it is a UK spec euro import for their records.
