Question

Guys and Gals,
I have reposted my enquiry because it seemed to be side tracked into a debate on who is the best insurance company etc.
All I need to know is can I insure a MY03 WRX dutch import with full uk parallel spec at Liverpool & Victoria for the same price as a uk spec car.If they can will they require proof of the spec on the car etc.

Unless you ask them yourself you won't get the exact answer....but I suspect the answer is Yes.

You will just need to tell them it is UK Spec. Most insurers will accept this as a binding contract(i.e. If they found out later something amiss they refuse to pay out)

Make sure you add the Cat1 alarm though.

Does LV require a tracker?

It's looking like my top choice when the new car arrives (PS will they insure for g/f of 22 as additional driver?)

No, they don't require a tacker, they weren't even interested in an alarm although I've had a cat 1 fitted. Doubt they'd insure your G/F at 22 tho'

If the quote's cheap enough, we may have to manage without
