Looking for trade insurance as I buy and sell a bit and also have two cars...costing me a fortune for temperory cover and having two policies.
Can somebody point me in the right directino. Tradex have quoted me £2k which I think is a bit steep.

tradex was the cheapest for me, so i think you'll struggle to find it for less.
it's gone up a lot, i had a policy with them for a few years, took it out when i was 21, i'd just had a own fault accident in a cossie(no ncb), it cost me £1100 tpft, think it was ~£1600 fc with my sapphire cosworth named on the policy.
