Insurance for Suabru Legacy
#1
Anyone have any idea it would cost me to insure my Subaru Legacy GT in the UK?
I am thinking of bringing it back to the UK. Its a saloon Legacy GT, MY98. Twin Turbo 260bhp.
I am male, 27, full NCB, parked in a garage at night and in the Manchester/Stockport area. I suppose 3rd party F&T will do.
If it is likely to be ridiculous then I might have second thoughts. Ballpark figurs will do, thanks. I know its best to call insurers directly, but its a bit of a hassle being not in UK.

Just had my GTB insurance renewed the other day... £748 (down £40 from last year!!! ). It's a Liverpool Victoria Insurance Company Ltd policy.
Great service, will spead payments over 11 months (for measley £47 quid extra in interest), plus don't care what level of security is on the car (didn't need Cat1 or tracker - Amazing!). I really doubt you'll beat them.
Other possible brokers/companies to try... see a thread I started last year:

Cheers,

P.S.
I'm 37, living near Edinburgh, policy is full NCB protected, £500 excess, no mods to car (who needs them with 260bhp!), had a minor bump/claim 2-ish years ago, wife has SP30.
Oh, and if anyone is interested the car is for sale . Kid number three is on the way... wife insists we buy a Fiat Multipla (yikes!).
