Default JDM INSURANCE ADVICE!!! (EAST LONDON)

Hello all I’m a week away from buying a JDM (import) Impreza Sti

I live in east London and I am struggling to find car insurance I have called up Keith Michaels and sky insurance and had no luck with them.

Bare in mind I am 30, held my licence 11 years and 8 years No Claim Bonus.
I have owned an Impreza WRX 2 years ago, BMW 330ci, 325i.

I would appreciate any advice.

- If anyone owns or previously owned a JDM sti and lives in east London I would really appreciate your advice on how you obtained insurance.

Not sure who I spoke with. First person answered asked me about the car and where I heard about them and put me through to someone.

I will I’ll try again on Monday.

Sorry, Can't help with insurance companies.
You probably know this but....
Can you describe your job differently? Has to be legit so don't stretch it too far.
Can you put an older person as an additional driver? That sometimes drops the price.
Good luck. Hope you get the car.

Hey John I am a teacher as sensible as they come. I can try putting my old man as additional driver. Thank you for the advice. 😀

In a similar situation myself.

Due for renewal, so will be keeping an eye on this thread!

P.s. I'm also in East London and haven't actually met anyone with a Subaru. There was a lovely Blue WRX on the road next to mine, but I don't know whether the guy sold it or not!
Anyway, I'm waffling now. Would love to see the Scoob once you get it

Good luck

Rik

Rare to see a scooby East London. Will keep everyone posted once I got the car and the solution to the insurance dilemma. Arrange a little meet?
