I Know I said that I wouldn't change the head unit as I wanted to keep the OEM look, but unfortunately the OEM died on me last week.
I've installed the new new double din unit and I'm pleased on the fitment as it's flush and in my opinion doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
Just a couple of questions :-
I currently run my sub off of the rear speakers, If I utilise the sub out on the head unit and not use the speaker input would it improve the effectiveness of the sub.
The unit has a reversing camera in, are these easy to fit and also one camera fits all? I'm looking at the ones on EBay for about £15.

If you use the Sub output on the headunit to run your sub you will be able to tweak it better. Subs are not full range whereas the speaker output is. Better to use the correct output.
Regarding the Rear View Camera, I have the Pioneer SPH-DA110 which also has the facility for a rear view camera, I got one of the one's you mention from Ebay, I think it was around £10.00 but works perfectly. This is the one I have, even came with a hole cutter lol:

As above, use the sub out.
Via the head unit's menu, you'll be able to match it to your setup better, by altering its gain and crossover point.
You prob also have gain, phase and crossover ***** on the sub unit itself. So between the head unit's and sub's controls, you'll have great flexibility in being able to set up the sub to best match to your speakers/car's acoustics.

Thanks for the comments.
So the RCA sub input is the way to go. :-)
With the camera, I'll go for one of the eBay items.
With the angled camera, where and how did you mount it.... Ideally I would think it should go between the number plate bulbs with a bracket bonded on to the bumper gap above the number plate and then the camera mounted onto the bracket.
Mounting it into the key hole is a quirky idea, have you got any photos please.
