First off happy new year!

Can anyone recommend a decent single or 1.5Din head unit, with the ipod connection behind the unit?
Are all ipod cables the same/compatible manufacture to manufacture?

Reason I ask, When I had the Scooby I had a double din Pioneer DVD unit that run the Ipod cables through the back of the unit (pioneer CA-IW.201S paid £40.00 just for this cable) so the front was wire free. Now gone to put this in my new motor (Ford) and the pioneer doesn't fit so looking to sell the pioneer and replace with a single or double din, but would like to keep the ipod cable running to the back of the unit?

Any suggestions
