Considering getting DAB, put off by aerial options
I've been looking at upgrading the current stereo in my hawkeye, tape player and all(!)
I found a nice one in Halfords recently, a Pure DAB one with Bluetooth, CD etc
The thing that's putting me off is the aerial options. The guy in the shop said there are ones that stick in the windscreen but don't work brilliantly, and presumably are not that aesthetic, or you can get magnet ones that are better and that stick to the roof.
I asked what is to stop someone just pinching it if it's just a magnet. "Nothing" he said, "that's why we recommend you remove it when you're not in the car"
This seems way too faffy for me and I can't believe there isn't a better solution.
What does this do? http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_p...?partno=PC6536
I have seen a nice shark fin style aerial but I'm still concerned about the wires.
Really I was wondering what options anyone has fitted to their cars and how they get on with them. I did try the search function but a lot of the threads are a few years old.
