Component speakers
Hi everyone, left my stereo setup in my old car and having this wrx for a week I'm missing some sounds......
Done a bit of research and found I need front and rear speaker adapters etc.
But what I want to know is what are the best components for £100 a pair?
I have always had vibe and they have been reliable and good sound quality as far as I'm concerned, but I know there are gonna be some people on here who have a better experience of components.
I want:
Front components £100
Rear components or co-ax (not sure what's best) £100
4Ch amp to run them
Thanks

Hello mate.
First of all, we can all talk about brands and build quality etc...but sound preference is personal. Also, a good installation will make a half decent speaker system sound better.
With this in mind, I recommend...
1. Spend £40 on sound deadening for the front and rear doors. Speak to Colin at Car Audio Direct.
2. Try and get some MDF templates for your speakers. I that is a challenge, some Corsa C ones will do.
3. Spend the rest on the best speakers you can get.
4. For the 4 channel amp, again it is down to personal choice...new or used get one with as much RMS power as possible. Also, ensure it has a decent set of eq controls, although I tend to run my amps flat.
Hope this helps.
