Default Blobeye poor radio reception

Just got my 53 plate wrx and the reception on the stock radio is crap , on further investigation I found the booster on the rear piller and the blue wire with spade connection is just hanging there , it looks like at some point the car has had a new rear window but no internal radio antenna connection just wondering what my option are , can I buy a printed antenna with spade connector and fit myself or I have a fm/tv antenna from when I had freeview in my classic but it has the normal coax connection , how would I connect it to the booster spade connection or do I need to run the cable from the radio again .
Thanks kev
