......will the rear speakers from a 4-door Impreza drop into the door fittings of the 5-door?

Do you have a new shape car or not so new?
Which doors do you want to put the speakers into?

 

Sorry - my question was re the MY99.

I have the chance of buying some aftermarket speakers that fit straight into the stock fittings of a 4 door. Just wondered if the rear speakers would drop into the rear doors of my 5 door, rather than the parcel shelf.

 

The 5Dr rear speakers are quite possibly the smallest speakers I have ever seen fitted to a car......literally 3.5" or something poxy....so I seriously doubt that they would fit....far to big.

I was going to replace mine but the holes are a bit small to find speakers to fit

 

The rear door speakers of a 99 5 door Impreza are 10cm.
The rear shelf speakers of a 99 4 door Impreza are 13cm.
The rear door speakers of a new shape Impreza are 13cm (I think) but don't quote me on that.
