Default Routing the Power cable for a Sub on a Hawk STI?

Morning all, all was wondering has anyone wired up a Sub on a Hawk STI. I know how it all works and what to do the issue is access to the big rubber grommet from the engine bay into the car. I didn't have a problem on the blob had the whole whing wired up and working in just over an hour.

I've just looked under the bonnet of the hawk and there's a strut-brace and an intercooler spray bottle in the way. It looks like to get any sort of access the intercooler, waterbottle and a few other bits need to be removed!

Seems an awful lot of work to feed a power cable through. One option i was thinking of was feed it along the strut-brace down the driverside and through the centre of the car along the tunnel but that means stripping half the interior out...

Anyone got any hints and tips?
