if its like the others i have fitted to various cars probably badly!there cheap for a reason.....

It will probably fit into the dash and you have the space behind for wiring so that probably wont be too much problem.

The main thing I have seen with ebay headunits that are produced cheaply in Japan is that they stick out a good half inch or more beyound the dash so dont look very pleasing on the eye.
They also dont work too well with programming of amps etc so not easy to tune. Depends on what set up in your car.

I also have a bugeye and am looking at a Kenwood unit. Ok its double your price but in the long run could be a better option ?

I`ve got one of those kind of headunits in my bug, and you need to trim away a fair bit of stereo surround so the screen can tilt and slide out to get cd`s in etc. It does stick out a bit as previously mentioned, but is no too bad overall.

ah cool i just bought the smaller screen where it dont have to tilt the screen so hopefully it aint too bad like the look of the kenwood might have to invest maybe early next year

I have a kenwood unit - about 3 months old that be up for sale soon

Fits perfect in the dashboard

I think the last owner of my wrx had something like that because mine has been trimmed away and left messy... I have wondered if getting one would cover the mess up... grr
