Default Blaupunkt 'Protect' message

My dad's Blaupunkt Buenos Aires 200 displays 'protect' on the display. He's done nothing out of the ordinary, got out the car, filled up switched on again and the message appeared.

Any one got any ideas?

Anders

Cheers for the replies, he found a reset button on the front of the radio and that brought it back to life. I recon it could be a shorted speaker wire, the error might come back.
