from memory no.... you have to take a direct feed from the rear speakers....
I was thinking about it but as the standard stereo is pish i'll wire the sub in when i get a new head unit

No need to do it from memory now.... the old unit is out replaced by a nice motorised tv/dvd unit today.
All thats on the back of the Std double din is the normal block connector and the ariel. No other line out's on it!

Pop out the cup holder there should be 1 -2 screws holding it in. Undo them and pull the cup holder out of the facia. You can then grab the facia from the top and pull it out, it's held in with clips and comes off fairly easily - you may have to carefully lever the bottom of it but it is easy. The facia can just hang and the stereo is held in with 6 screws.
Easy... it can be removed in under 10 minutes
