This post has been edited as it was an advert with little relevance to the post.

Mr Manchester, please could you contact me and I'll explain why? If you're interested, you could take out a banner advert - drop me a mail and I'll point you in the right direction.

If I've got the wrong end of the stick, please correct me too.

Regards,

Nick.

You're in Leeds - if you can't find any sites, I'll come and give you a hand fitting, taking photos as we go along to make it easier in the future...

Drop me a mail if interested.

Sorry nick as you can seen im new to all this and did not know that i could not put a link on here for a place where i got my work done. I did think it was relevant because if he contacted the E-mail addres on the site then he could have sent him a picture of an impreza with Infinity speakers in the front, hence the link to the site.

Sounds like a bit of wires crossed. Mr.Manchester - when folk see a newbie put a post up with a link and little explanation they think you are a trader trying to get a free ad. I thought the same when I saw the original message, and did not look at the link. Usually if folk put a link to a trader they would clarify that they had no trading association with them. I'm sure no offence is taken, and I hope you enjoy the board. And Nick - I would have done the same.

Cheers for the explanation. I saw the post, and thought it was an advert for somewhere you worked - your URL is down as being alloytechwheels, which made me think you worked there and that it was an advert.

I did try to send you a mail, but couldn't, as your email address isn't public.

John is absolutely bang on with the explanation, too. This board has been used as a cheap advert for traders in the past, which is why an eye is kept on it - it's provided free, and is semi-supported by paying advertisers. The cost of running this thing and providing the bandwidth that it consumes is quite considerable! (NB: I don't put anything into this myself )

Hopefully you can see why I got my wires crossed, and will forgive me

Of course, you're more than welcome to post the link, particularly if it's of relevence!

The install on the site looks excellent, and the video stuff is in an impreza - is it yours?

Welcome to the board, get involved and enjoy it! Do feel free to drop me a mail if you want anything clarifying.

Cheers all. Group hug!

Nick.

...and, back to the original plot, I don't think there's pictures of these in an MY01 yet (and the alloytechwheels install looks to be on an MY00)

Drop me a mail if you want some help.

If in leeds area, get nick to take you took audio images in bradford. They have experience of all speakers on the market and have incredible installation engineers.

tell them I sent you and they should be extra nice to you.

Nick when you want me to send you those horns let me know.

I have taken on another wave of in car audio bug, so am about to have some serious re arranging.

Jerry at Unicar is fairly friendly, but Audio Images know their stuff. I get my stuff from Maximum Impact, who are severely brand limited but are seriously hot when it comes to the "special stuff".

Will mail you.

Nick.
