Infinity 605cs Install Question

Okey dokey. Just picked up a set of the 605's and noticed this sound limiting thingy or whatever it is on the crossover. whats that all about then and what have you lot done?

I believe it is to cut down the volume of the tweeter.
I didn't bother splicing and connecting mine, so I don't get the -3db on the tweeter. Does sound quite trebly, but then I can turn that down on the head unit anyway.
I would say try it without connecting to the -3db connector, if you are happy, leave it. You don't <I>need</I> to connect anything to it.

Where did you get these from? Having had one attempt and ended up with 655s instead, I have finally got my money back! Just wondered if it was somewhere local doing a good deal?

Fraid not mate - it was from Halfords and the were 119 quid Bloody expensive really but I got them there and then and I had 100 quid birthday money to spend in there
As far as I know one of the cheapest is MCS Direct on the web - not sure of the URL.

No problem! I thought it looked too good to be true, but until you actually press the 'I want to buy it' button, you don't see the extra costs! Anyway I'll have a look around and see what I can find - not in any hurry.(I was a while ago when I first tried to get some, but now other things have come up to spend my money on!)
