My type r is nearly finished and i'm now thinking on what ice I should have in car ?
I don't want a sub due to weight but do want quality sound with a bit of bass , i was thinking along the lines of components front and rear connected through a capable amp
I'm also looking at the alpine ipod unit
Can any1 reccomend some components and amp i want to spend no more than £300 on speakers and amp

You'll be hard pushed to find good quality for that price but, try some infinity components for the front and get some 6x9's for the rear you'll get more bass outta them. As for an amp you'll be looking at approx 4x75w rms. With audio the more u pay the better the quality.

 

There is only one place suitable for 6x9's and that's the bin. Get a good set of front components and make sure they are well mounted to the doors, preferably with at least some sound deadening.

 

I'm selling my set up, Focal Fronts, Rainbow rears. Both components. JBL Amp to run both. I'm after £450 for th elot including the wires delivered.

I can do you the fronts and the Amp for £300.
