Are these speakers any good? What are the wires hanging down?
Slowly trying to bring the Type R back to its former glory. Seems she wasn't looked after too well by previous owners.
Anyway the ICE is next. She has the following 6x9s in the back with two wires hanging down not connected. Any ideas what they should be used for?
Am not even sure they are working properly and would like to know if anyone has heard of the make and if they are any good setup right, if not they going in bin!

Any help/advice appreciated

never heard of them. they should have on board crossovers so should only have two wires coming out of them,
On the whole they look a bit pap they have strange wires coming out of them and they are some very obscure make.
Bin them

By the look of em they dont look very good and ive never heard of em. There could be 2 wires comin from the speakers because they could've been amped up in the past. 1 set of wires would be goin down to the headunit and the other could've been goin to a boot mounted amp. Just a guess.
HAve recently found out there are Pioneer units, but I stiil stand by my original post, becasue they fire upwrads and bounce off the rear screen glass the sound will not only be distored but out of phase.

Cross-axials!
Haven't seen a set of them in years. Ideal for shelf use as the tweeters and mids are usually fitted 90 degrees to the main woofer so fire forwards instead of up at the glass.
However, these look like they are fitted backwards!
On second thoughts, they might be surface mounts - same principal. And still fitted backwards!
