I own a gx, it doesnt use iso connectors and doesnt have a rca out
Is there any way i can wire it up with this stereo, or will i have to upgrade my head unit.
any help would be appreciated

you will also want to put in new front speakers and amp them. For this sort of install you really don't want it off the factory headunit. Try and get a CD headunit with 2 sets of preouts - then you can control the level of the fronts and the sub. Also soundproof the doors - even in MY01. It is possible to run a 2 channel amp "tri-mode" with a passive crossover network, but you really are going to want 4 channels. If you leave the factory fronts in off the headunit and then amp a sub, you will have wonderful sub-bass and rubbish everything else and it will sound awful.

I am getting it on saturday,
yes i will prob use the high level output, till i get a new head unit.
i hope to bridge it for mono 1*100,
then get another amp later on for the fronts.
The good thing about the MY01 is that the speakers are in the doors so no speakers in the rear shelf.
This is just my first step into who no`s what

or you could buy a monoblock later for your sub and use the v12 to power the fronts.
also if you bridge you should get more than the sum of the rated power of the two channels at 4 ohms - usually you get the sum of the rated power at 2 ohms which is usually about 50% more. So most 2x50 amps bridge up to 150W. I have a Kenwood that claims this. A Lightning Audio 2x60 claims to bridge to 200W. What sub and what sort of box?
I would just leave the rear door speakers alone and spend everything on fronts amps sub cable and soundproofing.
