I've finally had the call from the stereo shop to say my kca s210 is in, so am planning on enlisting a friends help and wiring it in tomorrow

Are there any extra cables or leads i need to purchase in order to get this wired into my mask headunit?
Do you need to use that little aux switch kenwood supply as well, or can kenwood head units switch between multiple (aux) devices?

Just for reference my head unit is a Kenwood KMD-PS971R

You don't need anything else other than cabling for the m-station. The 210 includes the cable between head unit and the box.

You won't need the "aux" switch thingy if you're head unit is quite new-ish. as long as your head unit manual mentions switching to aux then you're laughing.

It's easy to fit. It doesn't need any power.

Oh, that's the same head unit as me. You don't need the switch, you just use the "source" button to cycle through the different options.

You can title the Aux input too. Mine currently says "limp MP3" and looks particularly cool when on half horizontal split with the spectrum analyser underneath

Boys and their toys, as my wife often says.
