I have my bass amp under the drivers seat. In the rear I have two custom made enclosures with a 8.inch sub in each. They lay flat on the floor. I find passengers dont mind and when I park up I can cover them with rubber mats. The sound is a lot better as they are so close to the front of the car.

This idea could work for you. If not ,the old genuine Bazooka actives are good. And I believe the VIBE range are good.

One of my first installs had an amp strapped to the outside of a wedge-shaped box that I built, and used two XLR connectors for power (one for +12, one for ground). Removable, and fairly good sound.

It was a Pioneer TSW-301 with a Kenwood 821 amp. Box was my own hack-n-slash job in 18mm mdf with copious amounts of silicone sealant...
