Default Aftermarket rear speaker fitting problems to 95 wrx

I can anyone help me with my speaker problem,

I brought some aftermarket speakers to fit the rear parcel shelf but won't fit. Is there some adapters which i can buy to make the fit.

Nice 1 all

Depends what you bought.

When I did mine, I bought Sony 6 x9's, removed old speakers plus the metal plates beneath them, and fitted the new speakers via home made adaptors, made out of 18mm MDF. I cut them for the speakers, using the template that came with them, then marked and cut the outer edge to a lozenge shape, covered with cloth I bought from an ICE dealer, held on with Evo-stick, and bolted them through the rear parcel shelf with 40mm M5 stainless cap-headed screws, caps uppermost.

Takes longer to describe than to do, nearly
