Just wondering whether the new 2009 Impreza/ Forester headunit can be fitted in a 2006 Hawkeye. The only thing I noticed on the new one is that they have move the headunit up and the air vends down but I'm not sure about size wise.

no they wont fit, for starters the headunit is 13mm oversize on each end which would mean trimming down the interior panel. then you would need the wiring loom to fit into the headunit which is a complete loom from subaru. next thing is even when you do get it all plugged up and working it will only work for 30 mins max then lock itself completly, the 09 headunit hooks up to the cars can interface and reads things from the vehicles electronics so it wouldnt match up with your car.


so to top it all off no it wont work or fit
