Default Replacing Factory Fitted Double Din Stereo

Hi, i was wondering if anyone out there has fitted an aftermarket double din stereo to their 2005 WRX STi Type UK. I was looking to install something along the lines of a Pioneer Avic F900 BT, but after taking the old unit out have noticed that the cage that should be supplied might not secure into the hole. Do i need a different facia/adaptor to install it??? Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi,

Is yours a hawkeye?
I fitted the Kenwood 5220BT in mine at the weekend and its easy peasy lol
The cabe sides unscrew off the Subaru radio and screw direct on to the new double din and needs only a wiring addaptor.
