Question

Just had a new head unit and front speakers installed in my MY01.
Now both front door panels rattle when volume is turned too loud and there is a lot of bass.

How can I get round this ?

Should I try and stop the rattles with packing or something or should I invest in a sub to take away most of the bass from the front speakers ??

Thanks,
G

You could do well to invest £20 in some dynamat, put it behind the speaker install, should take away most if not all of the rattles.

Imho, I would always run amps and subs rather than full range thru the speaker, better sound, once you have done it you probably wont just have a standard stereo again
