Default kenwood kna-dv3200 sat nav help

Ive got a kenwood kna-dv3200 sat nav fitted in car, When using sat nav it seems to only half work it will show car on map but seems to lag when following the movement of the car. when driving in a straight line it keeps up soon as you turn a corner it just stops then catches up after about 1/2 mile after.
when in navigation mode again it follows car movement in a fashion but doesn't tell you when to turn. pressing the voice guidance all it says is "please refer to the map". If i deviate off the guided route it wont recalculate the route just lets you drive without bother telling you to turn round

im hoping someone has had this problem before its doing my head in

cheers

Do you know where your gps arial for satnav is ? Did you fit it yourself ?
It seems that your gps sensor is not getting a good enough signal or may be malfunctioning. Be advised that the wires that go to the gps sensor are extremely sensitive and if you want to relocate the sensor, be very careful not to bend it.

the gps aerial is on the dash on passengers side, i put the gps aerial in.
on the sat nav it will pick up 4-5 satellites someone has mentioned something about a speed sensor wire??
The other problem ive got now is i have disconnected battery and now the satnav wont even follow my movements just stays in Belgium spinning round in circles??
im in two minds to take it out and throw it in the bin and buy a A-Z they never go wrong lol
Asked kenwood about it they dont seem to care

Weird stuff. If its picking up the satellites then i suppose there is a problem with the unit itself? Try basic stuff like disconnecting the unit, taking the cd out and in, etc. When i had a problem with mine, it turned out to be a faulty gps sensor - everything was fine after that was replaced..
