Ive recently bought a Version 5 and it has a Sony CDX-GT500, It also has two amps one in the rear for rear 6x9's and one under the pass seat for a sub. The sub wasnt in the car when I got it but when I took the stereo out I noticed that its still connected to the head unit.

The problem I have is that when the radio is on, sound comes out of the std front speakers and more importantly out of the rear amp'd speakers but as soon as I switch the source to CD on the headunit only sound comes out of the front std speakers?

Is there something wrong with the head unit? Maybe the ways its wired? Something common that you guys know about?

there are 2 remote turn on blue blu/white on the stereo connected to the remote for the electric aerial not the remote for both
