Default help needed (sterio)

hi all,got a bit of a problem...

had a flat battery yesterday so while i was at work my dad came round with a booster to get it started, trouble is he put the terminals the wrong way round -RED ON BLACK & BLACK ON RED and blew the main fuse, which made the car dead..he replaced the main fuse and got the car started and all seems fine (up to yet) apart from the sterio..it wont do anything no light up no power nowt...

anyone any ideas please

The stereo might have it's own built in fuse. I know i had a kenwood stereo that had it's own little fuse in the back which i blew when i wired it up wrong. All i did was replace the fuse and the stereo was working again.
I don'#t know what stereo your using but it may be the same problem for you.,

as above check fuses first. If they are ok, youve probably blown the unit. ive got a few alpine headunits for sale, if you dont manage to sort out your stereo let me know.

not sure if it has its own fuse or not, but if you pop it out it would be simple enough to have a look around the back. might be worth checking that you are getting power through the iso block as well while you got the stereo out.
