Default amp not turning on ?

needing help here as im pulling my hair out lol. basically my amp won`t turn on. the battery lead and earth are fine. the cables are fine. ive swapped sterio`s and amps still no joy. my remote wire is wired into the blue/white. all connections are in the right place. ive done loads off sound systems and never had any bother. any suggestions on what to do next ?
the car is a 1995 jap import wrx. thanks

remote wire damaged somewhere along the body maybe?

ive metered it and its perfect. is the remote wire a positive ? cause if it is i aint getting any voltage to the amp. cheers

remote is a pos just try to bridge from the power to the remote amp should turn on. some head units have a inline fuse on the remote fused at 1 amp or less.

thanks audioscape. so if i find a positive on the sterio somewhere that comes live when turning the ignition on. that will cure my problem ? cheers

technically yes but the remote turn on has a soft start so u may get a thud from tour speakers.

no prob have fun hope you have an inline fuse on your remote meter your remote cable just to make sure it is not going to ground anywhere. just put a fuse inline if you end up going on to the red acc cable on the stereo loom (if after market)
