Default New head unit needed, any recommendations?

Looking for a head unit that iPod compatible. Ideally want something with a big screen that displays iPod info so i dont have to look at the iPod to choose tracks, etc. The bigger the screen the better.

Any suggestions?

Got about £250 to spend.

The Alpine media controllers appear to have the best interface on the market, but no CD drive if that's an issue.

I'd get yourself to Halfrauds, take your iPod and try the ones on display find one that you like then find somewhere that sells it at a reasonable price (I paid £150 for mine over a year ago it's still £225 in Halfrauds!)

if you have space for a double din you should have a look at the Kenwood DPX303 and DPX503u. These can be upgraded to bluetooth with the kenwood adaptor. If you ask the right people there are some good deals available.

If you only have space for a single din I would have a look at the KD-BT22, KENWOOD KDC BT8141U and ALPINE CDE 9882Ri. These are all pretty good Ipod controllers.
