can i get my stereo fitted?
ive been bought a new single din head unit for my 05 wrx with free fitting at halfords. Can i have this fitted without a pocket underneath it or would it just fall into the hole? Not decided what pocket to get but i would like to get the stereo put in.

Yes, the new head unit will fit using the 2 metal brackets from the OEM double din to hold in place.
But as you said you'll have an unslightly hole exposing all the wires underneath.

yes mate it fits on a bracket within the "hole" so that will be fine ask and they will prolly be able to provide a blanking plate for the gap until you know what your doing with it
