Question Navigo Sat nav anygood at £59..?

WH Smiths have these for £59 (supposed to be £98..?!) and I'm thinking of getting one. Apparently you can load it up with Tomtom software..?

Navigo Sat Nav | WHSmith#

I've never had a need for a Sat Nav (therefore complete novice), but at this price I could be tempted, if only for locating V-power away from home..! lol

Any thoughts..?

It's a nice unit for that price indeed. Luther does the TT7 run trouble free on this and any issues with GPS in london if you have tried it????

As i'm also considering buying one, coz it's cheap...and will allow TT7

Price has gone up (as Jasonius has pointed up) on ebuyer but if you're happy to wait... I'm sure it'll drop again soon enough.

Baly.... I downloaded TT7 on one SD card and IGO8 on another.... Tried out TT7 and it works fine. However, having had a play on IGO8... I preferred it's setup so haven't gone back to TT7.... I'll have another play and let you know....

Thumbs up

Great piece of kit this. Easily got TT7 (UKI & EU + oct08 safety camera sites) running sweet as, also tried MioMap3.3 and Igo8, but prefer the simplicity of TT ATM..

Not need to hack the unit itself either, just a case of downloading and copying software to an SD card then following a few simple instructions..

WH Smiths online now have this for £49 inc delivery, which works out better than the Ebuyer £45 offer as that doesn't inc P&P on orders under £50.

Navigo Sat Nav | WHSmith

The beauty of buying it from WHS is you can take it back to a high street store within 30 days for a full refund..

If you're thinking of trying one this makes it a no brainer IMHO, but somehow I doubt you'll be taking it back..!

Thanks to Luther for the heads up..

Great units for the price. Nice and compact, will play films etc.

Run mine with MioMaps which works very well.

I've got 3 dead lines on mine but it gets knocked around abit
