has anyone got the above 2 units? if so does the sms side of it work ok? mine doesn't seem to want to display text messages or send them and i don't know if it's me or a faulty unit or a stupid phone!

any help would be great

Ive got the 8220BT unit with the bluetooth built in and mine doesnt receive text messages, but is that really a bad thing from a safety point of view?
