I got myself a set of Genesis Profile 16s to replace my Infinity 605cs speakers, I set about changing them this morning only to find that fairly extensive modification of the OEM adapters/weather shields is going to be required(the basket is larger), and an MDF spacer(12-18mm), fitted to the front of the OEM adaptor is also required, this is not really a problem to me, but I am curious to find out if anyone else has attempted to fit these speakers in a classic shape (MY00) impreza, if so how did you get on?? was it successful??

I don't want to go down the door build route, I want to keep my ICE as stealth as possible.
