I wouldn't say 'massive' but my humble audio ended up weighing a fair bit..... Doesn't do the performance much favours but the car was pretty quick as standard....

What you thinking of adding?

no probs dude lol, had it done and sounds great, i just gotta sound proof the boot now as the spoiler vibrates to an extreme at highish volumes, has anyone done this or know of where to get it done, ive been told to use dynmat or skins which is slightly cheaper, a quote to do it for me is £60 plus matterials? is this a fair price? thanks people.......

do it yourself mate, it's simple to do, also look at other products such as brown bread, or even a brand called ivanhoe. hell for the competition cars we even use aqua seal flash banding from B&Q! it's just bitchmen and butale (spellings probably wrong) with a backing on it.

To fit just make sure the panel is clean, peel the backing off of the sound deadening and stick on. now it's a little colder a heat gun or hair dryer will be a big help as the warms softens it up and allws you to work it into all the contours of the car. I'll have a look round as i've got some pictures from when i did the escort. stripped it to the shell and soundproofed it from top to bottom.
