As in my other post I was looking for a good ICE fitter to supply and fit a single din unit to my STI 5.

I need the space left to accommodate my Lambada and Knock Link sensors.

1. Any one know where I can get it done.

2. Is the center console easy to remove if I have to attempt it my self?

Do it yourself piece of ****... (would have thought...)

Centre console is easy to remove... wont comment as dont know what year your car is..

To fit single din radio you just need to buy an adaptor (autoleads are a good bet..) your local halfords are probably a dealer.. you can then probably buy a blanking plate... in case you dont want a radio... and mount your led's etc in this by just extending the leads with a short bit of ribbon cable..
I would suggest keeping leads short and / or using shielded cable to reduce interference..

I think honda integra type r doesnt have radio as standard so may have blanking plate??

Sorry If this isnt any use... but I thought I might as well reply...

Thanks Dave, Its a STI V5.

I will enquire today at a fitters, if he gets ££ signs in his eyes i will do it my self. If he moans a bit I'll get a clear sign that its a job for him and not my clueless self!
