Default Advice on wiring in a second amp

I need some advice about wiring in a sub and amp in my boot…..

Currently, I’ve got an amp for the speakers in the boot – I’ve got one earth, one remote connected to the amp and a live wire running from a splitter box with separate fuses to enable me to run a second amp.

My question is whether I can run a cable from the 1st amp’s earth and remote terminal to the second amp in parallel or whether I need to run another separate remote from the headunit?

Any help gratefully received…..

The remotes not a problem running from the other amp but personally would run a earth cable from the 2nd amp to the point where your originals earthed rather than off the amp itself mate.

As above.

I've always used a scotchlock on the remote wire. I've done this using 3 amps in the past and never had any problems but definatly run a second earth to a seat belt mounting point or something along those lines.

Don't like scotchlocks much myself , prefer to splice or crimp
I would also run the earth to the same mounting point as the first amp if possible

I am running two amps which were earthed seperatly but to the same point in the car, started having weird & wonderful things happening to my electrics (my engine would cut if i was sitting still in traffic if I put the Drivers window up using one touch for example) moved the Earths so they were completely independant and nvr had any more troubles, I'd always keep the earths completely seperate.

Best to try both and see what works best for each individual case.
sometimes you can get ground loops and noise in the system by grounding to different points , sometimes not. At the moment my two amps are also grounded to different points and work just fine Thats some crazy shiiiiit that was happening to your car doobyscoodo!!
