Kenwood 7080 Problem
#1
Anyone had this one?
Every so often the "Mask" faceplate goes to the "half open" position and the thing turns itself off. It doesn't behave like a power-off as it never closes fully.
This is sometimes (but not always) if I hit a pothole.
The only way to cure it is to remove & refit the faceplate - even turning off the engine doesn't work.
I don't get any other symptoms to suggest a general loose connection with the ISO adapter - have I got really unlucky & got something loose WITHIN one of the many connectors? Or is it something in the head unit?
