Default Anyone have an opinion on....

Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD.... not a UK model as such so RDS is out of the window but priced at $450 so fits the budget....

Pioneer USA - A/V Receivers

Am considering a DAB hideaway box and my ipod hooked up should more than suffice.

Anyone....?

looks good mate. let us know how you get on with it cause i have ipod hooked up to Pioneer DEH 6800 headunit and the ipod controls are so basic it's frustrating. So i am looking at double din touch screens but best i can find so far is this alpine one...

I am very interested in one of these!

If you end up buying one, have a play with it then let us know if its any good!

I reckon if it works out at under 300 quid delivered thats a bargain (thats a guesstimate btw)

Anyone else know of any touch screen bargains?

I have a classic so am open to motorised single din options too!

right.... Done some research and as it stands there is one major problem.... Region 1 code lock....!

Apparently there is no way to unlock or hack this unit so i can either go get it for 250ish from the USA or pick up a UK one for 375ish....

Second problem.... I've just found Pioneer's 'vehicle dynamics processor' and i seriously want one.... However it doesn't fit this model but does fit the 6000...

Now do i get the 6000 for 380ish plus VDP at around 150 or saves my monies and stick with a 4000 for consideraly less....!

Hmmm...

Take a look at VDP and you'll realise my problem.... Lol.
