Default Just a quickie

Hi

Just a quick question does the kenwood head unit have to be removed to fit a KCA-ip500 (i-pod lead ) or can it all be done insitu ?

Which would be best Infinity 5020cs or Infinity 6020cs for the front door location and what adaptor plate would I need as they are 13/16 cm Is it this Corsa thing I have read about ?

Cheers Chap's for any replies

Nige.

If your headunit has got the right connections it will need to be removed, so that the HCA-ip500 cable can plug into the back. I seriously doubt there is room behind it to get a hand in there and plug in without it being removed.

Hi, I managed to get the Ipod connector in without removing stereo as there is a short lead coming of the back of the unit that you can reach, I also used 13 cm corsa adaptors, with Infinity Ref. 13cm speakers.

Was it a short burgandy ended lead hanging out the back mate ? if so thats a sat nav plug connection and you wont get all the best and correct features and charge your ipod , you need to plug it in to the cd changer socket which is on the back of the uni not a lead ,
