As title guys , what do i need to connect my ipod to my kenwood ddx 6029 , i have found a particular lead ( A kca ip500) , but do i need this or just phono/rc leads

Any help will be great

For the best results you need the proper lead as mentioned in your post. I have the same system in my car with the ip500 connector and it shows on screen the track title, track number, allows you to shuffle through the songs and charges the ipod as well. It probably does other stuff too, but I'm a bit rubbish with techno things

I also have the bluetooth kit fitted on mine. You can get sat nav but it gets difficult stuffing all the boxes and wires out of the way.

The spec on your car looks good! Richard Bulmer mapped my last car and I was chuffed to bits with it.

Enjoy Le Mans. I've been down for the last 3 years and it makes for a fantastic few days. Just watch out for the traffic cops!
