Default fitted 16cm components in classic today heres how

finally got round to fitting a pair of jbl gto607c 16cm components today in my classic & what a great sound very impressed for anyone that is thinking about fiiting the larger speakers heres how i did it apparently you could use the mounts that came with the speakers but found it was to much hassle & popped down the local halfords & picked up some autoleads corsa adapters the speakers screwed straight onto the adapter no holes to drill, now the holes on the adapter that screw onto the door i grabbed a round file i filed these slightly inwards took few seconds then was done very easy & looked great not that you see them behind the door

Hi all,

For reference SAK-2820's are for 130mm speakers, SAk-3001's are for 165mm speakers.

Hope this helps.

Autoleads only do 130mm adaptors for the classic as i have had the same trouble, so used astra mk4 adaptors and work
