Default radio fitting help!!

just installed a double din radio into my 54 plate wrx and when i come to watching dvd s on it its just a blank screen, i have read the instructins and i need to connect a reverse car wire in order to be able to view the screen, i assume the screen will go blank when you start driving and when parked the screen will come on, but where does this wire need to connect to?

On DVD head units, you usually have to wire it into the handbrake, so the DVD can't distract the driver while driving.

If you did want to play DVD's on the move, then connect the wire to ground

Question Ground..

When you say connect it to ground, where is the best place to connect it? Directly to the chassis?

That would be fine , just make sure the area is free of any paint etc and is a good metal to metal connection.
