****KENWOOD TV RECEPTION****
#1
Has anyone out there got a Kenwood TV system fitted to their Scooby? I am interested in getting one (for my passengers obviously). What is the TV reception like on the move in urban areas and on motorways? I know they aren't supposed to work on the move but i'm sure people out there must still have it wired so that it does work on the move.
Cheers,
Craig.

It is illegal to use tv in the front of the car whilst in motion whether it's for your front seat passenger or not.
Tv tuners have a wire that MUST be connected to the handbrake to prevent the tv tuner from working when the handbrake is off.
Police can and do check this because it happend to a mate recently, fortunatley he was legal.
Reception seems to differ alot depending on how close to a transmitter you are and how built up the area is.

I am fitting a Kenwood 1000 TV screen to my MY99. Will it fit in without any cutting of the dashboard? Am worried that when the screen comes out in may get caught on either side?
And are the aerials easy to see from outside the car
