Hi chiark
Just a quickie i know this isn't ice, but it's stopping me sorting ice in scooby, i ripped out sink unit @ weekend ready to fit nu one when i realised how the hell am I going to fit back panel without re - soldering pipes etc.., previously pipes had been fitted after sink unit so holes were cut no problem. obviously I don't want to have to start moving pipes around unnecessarily. How did you do yours??
any ideas greatfully received

I used flexible braided hose adaptors as I needed to convert from imperial pipes to a metric connector. These also had a valve in 'em so I could have water on whilst sorting this out.

I just cut a hole in the backboard, left the pipes behind there and brought the flexible pipes through and up to the tap. God only knows what I would have done without these

Nick.

I got the flexible thingies from homebase. They're 1 ft long and look like braided brake lines .

Should you not be moving this to the kitchens forum Nick?

Wink

I don't spend all my time on Scoobynet you know... just most of it, and I don't install kitchens... but you know GPs always need a new string to their bow... mmm there's a thought - might be quite lucrative in comparison

Naah, this one won't get moved. It's got my name in the title after all.
