Default No door modification speakers!

I need some suggestions for front door speakers to replace standard blob eye ones. They will just be running off standard head unit and dont want to make mdf spacers etc. I am simply after some exact fitting speakers for not a great deal of money that will improve the sound a little! Any ideas? What size/depth do I need?

Hi mate first thing you need is some vauxhall corsa speake adaptor plate from autoleads, firstly this will enable you to fit 13cm speakers secondly you can go a bigger depth than the standard speakers. I used infinity ref speakers they are quite expensive or you could go for infinty kappa range they are a little cheaperand a nice speaker too but i'd definatly go for corsa adaptors if i was you.

Thanks Dean. Is it just a case of screwing that to the door then and then you can fit 13cm speakers? Any drilling etc required?

Yeah, you just got cut a little locating tit of them and they will fit straight into the door aperture, tou may have to drill one hole but thats it, it is the easiest option and yeah 13cm speakers straight in. Ge me a shout if you get stuck.

This is what I have fitted to mine, but you still need corsa spacers.

not sure about the corsa adapters but you can also buy ones designed for classic Imprezas and take 13cm speakers. I bought mine the other day from Ebay.

Here is a link for same mounts:

Mine is 2003 but I'm guessing 2001-2005 are all the same.

no, the 13cm speakers are 5.25 ". The 6.5" speakers are 16.5cm speakers.

Most places tend to sell either 10cm, 13cm or 16.5 / 17cm speakers, apart from 6x9" speakers.
