Radio power...
Hi,
I have noticed something odd with my current sound setup. I have a Pioneer DEH MP3/CD headunit currently fitted, powering the two rear JBL shelf speakers and two stock front speakers.
Everything works fine including radio and I don't get any issues when listening to CD/DVD however I have noticed interference when the radio is on and I use my wipers.
When the wiper engages, the radio signal gets a boost of power which drops back down when the wiper motor disengages.
Any idea's what could be causing this? It's getting very annoying now as I can't listen to the radio properly without the sound going all weird on me.
Cheers,
Fz

Do you have the amplified ariel?? is it connected to the wipers or earthed to the same point?
Other than that is the ariel cable crossing over the wiper powercables?
The only other option is to drive very quickly in the rain so the water just flys off!!!!!!!!
that way you wont need to worry about the wipers!!
