Question

I've just bought a 93WRX and want to replace the Jap head unit with a CD-Rx. Having read through Chiarks website and some of the recent posts on this BBS and given that the search is till down I have a few outstanding questions:

i) Will Jap imports take a single DIN sized head unit?
ii) How to stereo removal tools work and where can I get a set?
iii) Do the Kenwood KDC 3/4/5/6000 series CD tuners come recommended?
iv) Can anyone recommend a decent set of replacement budget front door speakers that will easily install?
v) Is anyone aware of any big chain audio retailers selling 'free installs' with kit purchased (I live near Cambridge)
vi) Does anybody who has attempted a similar job on an early Jap import know of any gotchas to be wary of?

Thanks in advance

Andy

I put an Alpine into my Sti, no worries, fitted as usual, you can get a 2nd blanking slot to cover the gap in a double din slot, or put something else in there, I put my Equaliser face plate in there
