looking to see how people hav integrated sat nav / camera detectors into the dash.

I installed my Snooper S6 in the ashtray (after a slight mod with a dremmel)

and then mounted the Radar/Laser add-on unit behind the front grill

More pics of my install in my "view my scooby" link, and if anybody else is thinking of doing the same, i've got the part no. for the ashtray (IIRC about £20)

oooo that gives me ideas..as i have the same exact kit.. But on a bug eye.

My first thought was to buy a dash pod (as used for the data monitors) but that didn't conceal the unit completely and the ashtray was cheaper

unfortunately the space on the bug eye ain't as tidy as the jap eye.
i've been looking at it today and can't think of a place to put it

Had the same problem on my old bug eye, ended up using a proclip on the centre air vents but it still looked a bit bulky
